Troll element system.
May. 21st, 2012 11:54 ami just really need this to decide on patron trolls and stuff.
so, i’m sorting these by colour, and by which just make sense.
so naturally, the high end of the hemospectrum would be water like DUH seadwellers.
and the other end would be fire because they’re opposites, and the low end is made up of warm colours. then, green is earth and teal/blue is air.
so the system goes like this:
Dark Red (Sun) - Fire
Brown (Mercury) - Fire
Yellow (Venus) - Fire
Candy Red/Mutant Blood (Earth) - Earth
Green (Mars) - Earth
Jade Green (Ceres) - Earth
Teal (Jupiter) - Air
Cerulean (Saturn) - Air
Indigo (Uranus) - Air
Purple (Neptune) - Water
Violet (Pluto) - Water
Fuschia (Eris) - Water

Waves: this is obvious. southern water tribe i mean really. the planet’s full of water and islands.
Prisms: if you shine a light through a prism, what happens? LOTS OF COLOURS. rainbow of colours = rainbow of elements, because you know. avatar. this white light to rainbow thing can also be a different metaphor. the white light going in could be negativity or a bleak life, and then the rainbow it becomes can be positivity. the prism itself would be hope.
Bolin - Land of Clay and Lost Souls (LOCALS)
Clay: Clay comes from the earth??? also really obvious. very earthy sort of planet. lots of rocks and soil.
Lost Souls: this has a lot to do with the heart aspect. heart can also refer to the soul. also i imagine that the planet is just filled with happy little flying spirit thingies and i don’t know maybe Bolin tries to make friends with them while he’s there.
Mako - Land of Smoke and Fauna (LOSAF)
Smoke: fire produces smoke. i was going to use ash, but i tried to refrain from using vowels in the initials.
Fauna: Fauna means something along the lines of “animal kingdom”. i imagine Mako’s planet to look really desolate, but for some reason there’s just animals
Asami - Land of Metal and Dice (LOMAD)
Metal: i imagine Asami’s planet to look kind of industrial considering her father’s profession.
Dice: the light aspect is all about luck. what better represents luck and chance than dice?
there’ll be quests to go with all of this later, but idk yet.

Mako – quondamVagabond (QV) (Colour: #dc23000)
Types using proper punctuation, and capitalizes the first letter in every sentence. However, he tends to abandon both when upset.
Bolin – kalonOptimist (KO) (Colour: #00ae00)
usually types without any capitalization or punctuation
uses lots of exclamation points or question marks when excited or upset!!!!!!
Asami – gentleScion (GS) (Colour: #ff00b8)
Types using proper punctuation and capitalization. She frequently uses emoticons such as “:)” or “:(“.
